  6^th DECEMBER: BIRMINGHAM BACK TO BACKS AND CHRISTMAS MARKET

Visit the National Trust’s carefully restored 19^th century courtyard of working people’s houses. A Christmas Theme is planned. There are only guided tours taking place and we have to book early enough to be included. The Christmas Market in the town centre may be sampled after.  Entry Fee: £ 5.40 for adults.

24^th JANUARY 2008: MONMORE GREEN AND A NIGHT AT THE DOGS

 Monmore Green’s Party Pack is good value for money and once more we try our luck at the betting kiosk! I hope we still can count on last years price of £12 per person including the admission, race card, basket meal, two free drinks and three free bets with jackpot ticket.

 8th MARCH 2009: LEDBURY MURDER MYSTERY WALKING TRAIL 

“The Mystery of the Poet’s Argument”: There were once two poets who had a fight about which one had written the first poem about Ledbury, they were both murdered!

To find out more you have to join our Murder Mystery walk. We arrive by train and become detectives, at a subscription of £ 1.50 per person.  Please contact me by 28 February 2009 with subscription cost to be included in this event.
